"HYUGANATSU" is a citrus fruit grown in Miyazaki Prefecture and it is said that it was found growing in the house of Yasutaro Shintaka in 1821. Its characteristics are a modest sweetness with refreshing acidity and fragrance.                                                                  HYUGANATSU and HEBESU grown in Miyazaki Prefecture and fresh juice from YUZU grown in Kyushu are used for this Ponzu sauce and it is seasoned by MARUDAIZU soy sauce, bonito and kelp stock. This versatile Ponzu sauce may be used for a variety of dishes such as NABE hot pot dish, boiled Tofu, grilled fish, Japanese style salad, food in sweetened vinegar, Gyoza dumpling or Teppanyaki grilled dishes.
